Content Rights

Last updated: January 2026

1. Copyright Ownership

Creators retain the copyright in all original content they produce. By submitting content through the Inflame platform, creators do not transfer copyright to Inflame or to any brand. Intellectual property in submitted content remains with the creator at all times.

2. Usage Rights

While copyright remains with the creator, usage rights are granted to the brand upon campaign completion. Brands receive a broad, perpetual licence to use approved content however they see fit — including across digital channels and out-of-home (OOH) advertising — without needing to seek further approval from the creator for each use.

3. Scope of Brand Usage

3.1 Digital Channels

Brands may use licensed content across any owned or paid digital channels, including social media accounts, websites, email marketing, paid social advertising, display advertising, and any other online media.

3.2 Out-of-Home Advertising

Brands may use licensed content in out-of-home (OOH) contexts, including billboards, digital screens, print advertising, in-store displays, and other physical media. No additional licence or creator approval is required for OOH use where this is consistent with the campaign brief.

4. Creator Obligations

4.1 Original Content

Creators must only submit content that is their own original work. You may not submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party, including other people's photographs, music, or written material.

4.2 Disclosure

Creators must disclose any brand partnerships or sponsored content in accordance with applicable advertising standards and the specific requirements set out in each campaign brief.

5. Restrictions

Brands may not claim copyright ownership over creator content, misrepresent the origin of the content, or use it in any way that is defamatory, unlawful, or materially contrary to the campaign brief under which the content was submitted. Inflame reserves the right to suspend accounts where usage rights are being abused.

6. Takedown Policy

If you believe that content on the Inflame platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with the relevant details. We will review your complaint and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content in question. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

7. Disputes

In the event of any dispute arising in connection with content rights, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings. Inflame may, at its discretion, act as a facilitator in such disputes but does not assume any liability for the outcome.
